The co-founders of this company are proud to tell the story that led to the birth of Shibui, Inc.

Francine Howell has been a hairdresser in Dallas for 18 years. In Oct. 07 she incurred spinal injuries that
led to intense physical therapy. Through this she was introduced to aromatherapy for the benefits of
healing. It was life changing for her, and her experience led to a passion that rivaled her passion for
hair.

Denise Paruolo was a floral designer for over 10 years. In 2004 she took some time off for the duties of
motherhood. Needing an outlet for her creative side she searched and searched but found nothing
that could replace her passion for flowers.

A proposal of a business venture into aromatherapy was brought up and within minutes a
commitment was made with a handshake.

Our strengths are 50/50.  We pride ourselves with our unique style; combining essential oils together
creating seductive transient scents.

We not only want a new passion for careers but also one that provides wellness for us, our families
and friends, and our earth.

We create balance and harmony through our products and within ourselves.
